More Game Time Decisions
Foster himself said he was day-to-day earlier this week, but the Texans pronounced him a game time decision. Alfred Blue took the majority of carries last week, so fire him up if you need him.
Ben Roethlisberger vs TB
The only thing that could stop Big Ben from shredding these fools, would be the fact that he could just hand it off all game. I’m confident that Antonio Brown blows up in this game and Marcus Wheaton has a chance to break out here. Start with confidence.
The fastest growing game in fantasy in the Daily Game, so maximizing your lineup each week by finding the best values is imperative. Values are based on Fan Duel prices.
I have also included the % owned based on the Thursday night lineups. This information will help you pick the players with the lowest % ownership, but that will have the best chance to pop this Sunday. This % could go up or down between now and Sunday, but it’s a good starting point. Were are aiming for maximizing our lineups.
The key to a great lineup is mixing in High Priced studs, solid value plays, and some bottom basement values plays that can hit. Here are my favorites for the week:
All In High Priced Options
Drew Brees $9,200 8.3%
Chargers vs Jax
The Jags allow the most points to opposing defenses, and this will be Bortles first start. The Chargers may give some points in garbage time, but I like them for some turnovers and sacks against the rookie signal caller.
Best Waiver Targets
Kirk Cousins QB, Redskins
Cousins is legit and the real deal. The Redskins are going to a very friendly fantasy offense and their defense is not very good. I won’t be counting on 400 plus yards a week and 3 TDs, but he should be low end QB2 for the rest of the year. RIP RG3.
Time to take a look at players that we should look to be moving and players that we should be trying to acquire. You never know what owners are thinking until you make an offer. It’s time to bamboozle these fools with the Bait and Switch:
Buy! Buy! Buy!
When a guy is hurt and on a bye, you strike. Especially when the guy has great weapons, a great schedule, and a pass-happy offense. The bye week should do Palmer some good, as his should heals up. His value is low, but he still has top 12 potential. If you looking for some upside at QB and don’t want to give up a lot, Palmer is a good target this week.
Every week I will look at players that are on this rise or falling off. Here are the 5 biggest risers and 5 biggest fallers for week 2.
1) Eli Manning
Eli has looked pretty good the last 2 weeks, it just so happens that his WRs finally held onto the ball in week 3. This offense could click if everything comes together. Cruz, Randle, Jennings, and Donnell give Eli a nice group of weapons to utilize each week.
Every week Miss V and Juan Elway will give you their starts/sits, now let’s see who’s picks were better in week one! Position players need at least 10 points in a PPR to be a good pick and QBs need 15 in standard leagues. Let’s check out the results:
Play of the Week
Drew Brees vs Vikings
Sorry Vic, but I’m taking Breezy for the Saints home opener. After two losses on the road, the Vikings are in for an ass kicking here. Brees and company are dropping a 40 burger this week.
