Cecil Shorts is making major strides this year in camp after a breakout season in 2012. If we look at his numbers after their bye week last season, Shorts averaged 5.2 receptions, 86 yards, and .56 TDs per game. If he could of put up those numbers for an entire season, he could of been a top 10 receiver in nearly ever format.
This season he will be the go-to guy in the Jags offense and considering he was QB proof last season, I’m not worried about the Henne/Gabbert combo. “He competes and competes,’’ coach Gus Bradley said. “I want the ball,’’ says Shorts. “I’m not going to complain about getting the ball.’’

Just don’t sleep on Shorts this season because of the QB situation or because you think he was a one year wonder. All indications are that the guy is legit and his current ADP is fantastic. All aboard.
