The trade deadline has been moved back to Thursday, so there will be a couple of extra days to pull the trigger on a trade. DeAngelo Williams is another player that could on the trade block. The Panthers have already made a commitment to make Jonathan Stewart the starter, so getting value for D-Will will be helpful to a team that has a ton of holes and is not going anywhere in 2012.
Rivera is not tipping their hat: “We’ve got to sit here and see if somebody does call, but we’re not looking to move anybody or send anybody away or try to get anybody out there,” Rivera said. “I don’t think we have a lot to give in terms of trying to trade for players.”
Williams could land in a spot where he could see 15 touches a game, which would increase his fantasy value. Stewart on the other hand could really propel him into the top 10 for fantasy RBs if he can get the full load.
