Fantasy Impact: Justin Hunter

Staying at home Juan…

This pick made me think that Kenny Britt can not be trusted by the Titans to stay healthy or stay out of trouble.  Justin Hunter has good size at 6’4, good route running ability, and speed 4.49 40, but he has some red flags to be aware of as he enters his rookie season.  Hunter has a real issue holding onto the ball in college and will have to really work on his hands in the NFL.  His other big issue is his willingness to go over the middle to make the big catch.

Hunter enters a WR rotation of Kenny Britt, Kendall Wright, and Nate Washington.  If Britt is healthy and out of trouble, he will be entrenched as a starter.  Same with second year budding star Kendall Wright.  If Hunter can get it together during the early part of 2013 he may be able to unseat Washington at some point.  I’m not looking for Hunter to make a big splash in 2013.
