In no particular order, these are the top 4 candidates for the Heisman this year. Two very popular names are missing from this list and you’ll see why.

Kenny Guiton (Ohio State) - 65/95 (68.4%), 664 yards, 13 TDs, 2 INT, 186 rushing yards, 1 TD (3 games + 1 series)

Teddy Bridgewater (Louisville) - 79/110 (71.8%), 1214 yards, 14 TDs, 1 INT, 36 rushing yards, 0 TD (4 games)

Tajh Boyd (Clemson) – 80/127 (62.9%), 927 yards, 9 TDs, 0 INTs, 128 rushing yards, 3 TDs (3 games)

Marcus Mariota (Oregon) – 49/82 (69.7%), 889 yards, 7 TDs, 0 INTs, 262 rushing yards, 4 TDs (3 games)

No AJ McCarron or Johnny Manziel. Alabama may be undefeated and the defending champs but McCarron hasn’t done anything special enough to make the list. And to be fair to Manziel, he’d be number 5 on the list even with the loss to ‘bama and once Braxton Miller gets healthy for OSU and starts over Guiton, Johnny Football will move up.
