James Starks Playing For His Job?

I can’t even do this drill right Juan…

According to the Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Packers RB James Starks “really needs to show up in the preseason games.”

Tom Silverstein has also been quoted as saying this of Starks’ practices “aren’t as good as they could be, and he seems to have regressed as a receiver.”

I haven’t like Starks and have been mentioning Alex Green over and over.  I was listening to Greg Cosell and his assessment of Green was that Green’s skill set absolutely fit for what the Packers want to do on offense.

This looks like a full blown battle, but Green needs to get healthy.  If healthy, I think he can win the job and put up decent numbers, even in an offense that is predicated on the pass.
