So Aaron Rodgers loses his starting left tackle for the year, and now Adam Schefter is reporting that the Packers will be without Jordy Nelson for what could be up to the first 4 weeks of the season (they have a bye week 4, and would likely rest him), all because the Packers tried to soothe a nerve issue in Jordy’s knee. Damn.
Rodgers is pretty resilient when it comes to losing receivers, and he’ll find the open guy, but now we need to wonder who that’ll be: Randall Cobb, James Jones, the phoenix-like Jermichael Finley, or someone entirely different.
One thing’s for certain: this definitely doesn’t help Rodgers and his massive price as a top two QB in just about every fantasy football format in the known universe.
