Marques Colston was one of my favorite undervalued WRs coming into the season. Drew Brees was going to throw 5,000 yards again, right? Colston has easily the 2nd best target after Jimmy Graham coming into the season, but that has not come to fruition. A foot injury has caused a lack of production and according to reports, he could be back at full strength this week.
Colston has come close to a TD in each game. I know that doesn’t show up in the box score, but it is promising for a team that has an elite passing attack and a beyond terrible defense. Brees will continue to throw a ton and as long as Colston is healthy he will be the recipient of a ton of those targets. This is a great time to buy low and his stock could be even lower if he doesn’t produce tomorrow. I like his chances of bouncing back this season, so he is guy to keep an eye on tomorrow.
