Last season Raiders rookie Denarius Moore was the darling of training camp and became a potential fantasy start. He shined here and there, but hamstring issues kept him from really breaking out. I have been a proponent of Moore all Summer, but his hamstring issues are becoming bothersome. Not to mention that Jacoby Ford could potentially miss much if not all of the season with another foot injury. Here comes another rookie Raider WR to take his place on the depth chart. Enter: Rod Streater.
Streater has been impressing in camp and has done even better in real fake action. He has caught 13 balls for 109 yards in two preseason games and in the second game caught all 7 from Carson Palmer. It’s time to pay attention. He has passed Juron Criner on the depth chart and has been starting opposite DHB. The Raiders offense will be an explosive unit with plenty of juice if they can stay healthy. That’s been the problem with my man Denarius. If Streater can keep this up then he better be on all our radars, especially in PPR leagues.
