Marques Colston signed a big deal in the offseason which put that issue in the rear view mirror. Yes, losing Sean Payton was a blow to the offense, but all the other pieces were in place for Colston to be a top 10-15 WR again in 2012.
So far this season the only news Colston has made is about his foot injury which is obviously hampering him early in the season. He has 4/71, 3/49 and 3/40 in his first three weeks of the year. No bueno. Brees is tossing the ball all over the field averaging 300/2.3 a game, but Colston is not the recipient of those stats. Time to bench and wait is upon us.
