Carrie Underwood Gets Sunday Night Football Gig

The NBC Sports media department Monday sent out an advisory, saying there’s a “major announcement” at 4 p.m. today about “a talent addition to Sunday Night Football.” The announcement is believed to be that Carrie Underwood is replacing Faith Hill as the singer for the “Sunday Night Football” open. We broke this one almost a month ago.
