RBs Ride ‘Em or Hide ‘Em Week 3

Juan’s Breaking Tackles With

 DeMarco Murray vs Rams

Remember DeMarco’s first start in the NFL?  He went for 253 yards on the ground against the same team that he gets this week.  Not that I am expecting anything like that, but Murray should be getting more touches this week and fantasy stats are coming.

Ride ‘Em

Frank Gore vs Colts

Frankie Gore only has 60 yards rushing in the first 2 games, but if we look at it closer we can see a Packers team that refused to let the running game beat them and the Seahawks are the Seahawks.  The 49ers still have a great offensive line and the Colts D is soft.  Look for a big week for Gore.

Knowshon Moreno vs Raiders

Peyton can pretty much take this fight to wherever he wants.  To the air or to the ground. It’s not like the Raiders are going to put up any sort of fight.  Knowshon isn’t going anywhere as the starter and he could easily repeat last week’s performance.

DeAngelo Williams vs Giants

The Giants are allowing 17 points a game to opposing RBs in standard leagues and last I looked, D-Willy Style is the only game in town.  Yes, the Panthers OC needs to pull his head out of his ass and get this offense going, but Williams should be muy bien this week.

Hide ‘Em

Jacquizz Rodgers @ Mia

He stinks.  Can’t run between the tackles and doesn’t have much juice on the outside either.  May get some passes tossed his way, but I see Snelling getting more of the work. The matchup blows too.

Stevan Ridley vs TB

Ridley has been ta-ree-blay this season and the Bucs run D is top 5 against fantasy RBs.  You may HAVE to play him this week, but I would bench him until further notice.

Sleepers

Joique Bell @ Redskins

Reggie Bush is 50/50 to play this week, but why risk him this week when you have a perfectly capable backup in Bell?  Bell can get in done on the ground or through the air and could be a sneaky top 10 RB this week against the shaky Skins if he is the man.

Bilal Powell vs Bills

Powell is not going anywhere.  Ivory may be more talented, but Powell is just a guy who gets the job done.  He’s seeing work and could be used this week if you are struggling this week at RB (raises hand slowly).

Gio Bernard vs Packers

Bernard had his coming out party on MNF, but the snaps are still heavily favored on the side of The Law Firm.  Hopefully the coaching staff watches tape and helps to realize that Gio > Green-Ellis.  I think in PPR leagues he is a nice flex option.

Busts

MJD @ Seahawks

A gimpy MJD on the worst team in football facing the best team in football?  Pass.

Trent Richardson @ 49ers

T-Rich moves to the Colts and a better situation from a fantasy perspective.  Even though the 49ers can be beat by RBs (4 TDs in the first two weeks), I wouldn’t risk him this week, unless you have to.

Quarterbacks

Wide Receivers

Tight Ends

Defense/ST
