Alfred Morris caught 11 passes last season, which almost double the suckishness of Stevan Ridley’s 6, but is still a suck fest. Roy Helu is healthy and if you know anything about Shanny’s past and RBs, anything is possible. Hopefully Morris can get more targets (can’t get less) and get more receptions (can’t get less) to increase his value in PPR leagues. Here is what Shanmeister said about Alf’s improvements as a receiver:
“He has spent a lot of time in the offseason catching the football, running routes and you can see that hard work has paid off because he’s a lot more natural. It gives you another dimension.”
Well, we can always hope that the improvement comes this season and we see 30 plus receptions to go along with the majority of the carries and the work at the stripe.
