Arian Foster is a powerful runner that has good lateral quickness and is tailor made for the zone blocking scheme in Houston. The problem lies in the workload he had to take on in 2012 and the fact that his YPC has gone done over the past 2 seasons. I was concerned a few months back about the 460 touches (including playoffs) in 2012, but I have started to warm up to AF.
I would still take AP, Dougie, and JC Superstar before him, but I would have no problem taking him at 4. The Texans would like to get him closer to 300 carries which may increase his YPC and if Ben Tate can stay healthy, 7-10 touches per game would keep Foster fresh. Not to mention the drafting of DeAndre Hopkins will help open up the passing game and create more running lanes for Foster and Tate (possible Not Famous Andy).
