Week 5 RBs Hide ‘Em or Ride ‘Em

Juan’s Breaking Tackles With

Reggie Bush @ GB

Bush, when healthy, is a top 5 RB in PPR leagues in the Lions’ offense.  He should be in your lineup every week he doesn’t end up watching from the sidelines.

Ride ‘Em

Eddie Lacy vs Lions

Eddie Lacy is fully recovered from his concussion and is ready to roll following his bye week.  The Lions are giving up nearly 22 points a game to opposing RBs.  I’m starting him with confidence as a strong RB2 this week.

DeMarco Murray vs Broncos

The Broncos are smashing teams, but allowing RBs to get theirs every week.  They have allowed multiple TDs in 3 out of 4 games and in that 4th game they allowed a RB to score.  Murray is a multi-demensional threat that should get 15 plus points this week.

Ray Rice @ Dolphins

Rice played last week, but he should of just taken the week off.  He did move OK, but the Ravens decided to throw on 90% of their plays.  Harbaugh said he needs to get Rice more involved this week and I think it happens.  Rice has a nice game on the ground and through the air.

Hide ‘Em

Rashard Mendenhall vs Car

Mendy stinks and has Ellington breathing down his throat.  The Panthers front 7 is nasty and will easily shut down this running game.

Jason Snelling vs NYJ

Snelling’s run was fun while it lasted.  He took a backseat to Quizz last week and not faces   a defense that gives up the least amount of points to fantasy RBs.  Move along, nothing to see here.

Sleepers

David Wilson vs Eagles

For the love of all that is holy, can David Wilson finally break out this week?  He’s been a major bust this season and now with Scott getting kicked to the curb, Wilson should get a full workload.

MJD @ Rams

The Rams allow the most fantasy points to opposing RBs and MJD may finally get a shot this week.  He’s a risk, but if not this week, then it won’t happen.

Danny Woodhead @ Oak

Woodhead is a top 15 RB is PPR leagues right now, so sleeper is not really the right category.  People might be debating this, but he has 20 receptions over the last 3 weeks and it’s clear he will continue to get plenty of work in this offense.

Rashad Jennings vs SD

Jennings could be the last man standing this week and should see 20 plus touches this week.  If you need a plug in guy for one week, Jennings could be your guy.

Busts

Lamar Miller vs Ravens

Miller is obviously the most talented RB on the Dolphins, but he’s not getting enough touches and the Ravens are not the team to play a guy who gets limited opportunites.

CJ Spiller @ Browns

Spiller is the 31st ranked RB, is injured, and faces a defense that is the 5th best defense against fantasy RBs.

DeAngelo Williams @ Cardinals

Williams is really the only guy in the backfield, but he doesn’t get any receptions and no work at that strip. The Cardinals are holding opposing RBs to under 11 points per game.

Quarterbacks

Wide Receivers
