Week 9 Ride ‘Em Or Hide ‘Em RBs
You don’t need me to tell you to start Arian Foster, Ray Rice, or LeSean McCoy…my mom could figure that out. Let’s look at some other matchups that could be favorable this week:
Juan’s Running The Rock With
Trent Richardson vs Bal
Remember when the Ravens defense was scary to play against? They have allowed an average of 200 yards rushing per game over the last 3 weeks and Richardson looks like he’s finally back to 100%.
Willis McGahee @ Cin
As long as McGahee is in the same backfield as Peyton, he will be facing 7 man fronts and getting chances to score from short range. The Bengals have allowed 4 TDs to RBs in the last 3 games and McGahee should be able to get in for a score this week.
Doug Martin @ Oak
The Raiders have been pretty good against RBs recently, but the Bucs offense has been on fire and they might be too much for Oakland’s D.
Joique Bell @ Jax
LeShoure is either injured or something else is up. Bell could be a top 20 guy against Jax is he gets the start.
Daniel Thomas @ Ind
Thomas and Reggie Bush could both see a ton of carries this week against a very beatable Colts run D.
Justin Forsett vs Buf
Could see a ton of late carries if the Texans get up big and the Bills are the most generous team in the league against opposing RBs.
Alex Green vs Ari
Green will get you 20 carries for 50 yards. Try not to do a cartwheel.
Ahmad Bradshaw vs Pit
The Steelers are still a top 10 unit against the run and Bradshaw is losing goaline carries to Brown.
Chris Johnson vs Chi
It was a fun run, but the Bears D have not allowed a RB TD since week 1 and have not allowed more than 84 yards rushing in any game.
Fred Jackson @ Hou
The Texans have only allowed 22 total points to opposing RBs in the last 3 weeks combined. I’m not starting a guy in a timeshare unless I absolutely have to.
